You need to learn Polish quickly because you're heading there on vacation or a business trip, but you don't have time to go to classes or training. You want to interact with the people in Poland so that you can close your business deal or to absorb the culture. But, even though lots of people in Poland speak English in addition to their native Polish, you want to get below the surface of a casual visitor and experience all that the Polish culture provides.
Other phrasebooks out there provide you with generic information that is meant to work for as many people as possible to increase overall acceptance and thus increased revenue, but as a result, they are perfectly AVERAGE!
Average might work for some people, but not for us. They don't tell you how to purchase train tickets, how to get detailed directions, how to change your order in a restaurant or bar, how to discuss business matters, and how to pick up that hot foreign girl or guy.
